Weddings

Rev. Karen is an insightful, compassionate, and joyful wedding officiant, offering her services for all wedding ceremonies (non-denominational, religious, inter-faith, spiritual etc.) Her loving nature magically puts people at ease as she naturally accepts people for who and what they are. Rev. Karen is creative, flexible, and inspirational, and she brings this to each wedding she performs.

Each couple's personal wishes are honored, and if they so desire, they are given the opportunity to create their own ceremony. Rev. Karen often includes special touches in her beautiful ceremonies such as the Unity Candle Lighting or the Native American Wedding Blessing.
All religious, spiritual, and secular backgrounds are honored. From the most casual garden, country, or backyard wedding to the most sophisticated indoor wedding, she performs joyful, personal, memorable ceremonies. Her voice is soothing and warm, and her presence is bright, loving, and supportive.
Re-affirmation of Vows

This service offers couples, especially those who have married in another city or country, an opportunity to re-enact their wedding with family and friends. Many couples often choose to celebrate a continuing commitment to each other on the anniversary of their wedding. Rev. Karen provides suitable information for the preparation of such ceremonies and provides a specially prepared certificate as a record of the occasion (please note that reaffirmation ceremonies have no legal status)

Name Giving Ceremony

This ceremony offers an opportunity to recognise a child’s position in a family, as a new arrival or family member. It also allows a person to publicly announce a change of name. These ceremonies can be wonderfully intimate occasions and Rev. Karen is able to help you prepare such a ceremony tailored to your desires.

Funerals, Eulogies and Memorials

Funerals are a time for grieving and an acknowledgment of a person’s life. It is important that family of the deceased are able to pay respect in a manner of their choosing. Rev. Karen provides a sensitive and caring approach to the preparation of the funeral service and the eulogy in accordance with the instructions that may have been left by the deceased and the desires of the family.
Eulogies are prepared only after consultation with the nominated family members. An appropriate eulogy provides a celebration of life and a fitting remembrance. It is delivered with dignity and sincerity.
